Roadcraft began over a couple of Halbes at a table in the Black Forest in October 2022, while the rest of the group was still somewhere on the B500. The world had been grounded for two years. People were restless. The inquiries had been coming in for months — strangers on the internet asking where we were going and whether they could come. We decided they could.

Paolo Pietri trained as an architect and works as a filmmaker. For eighteen years he designed spaces that moved people — not just through rooms, but toward some version of themselves they hadn’t met yet. He brings the same intention to every Roadcraft route. The road has a beginning, a middle, and an end. So does a great building. The best ones change you before you realize it’s happening.
Alessandro Pietri
Co-Founder, Photographer and Rally Master
A professional cinematographer and photographer with a background in real estate development. As a homebuilder, Alessandro delivered the keys to hundreds of homes. Now the road is his home. He is a cardholding member of the Autobahn 200mph Club since 2008.
